Club Sega Canal City (Japanese: クラブセガキャナルシティ) was a game center owned and operated by Sega Corporation situtated within the Canal City Hakata complex in Hakata-ku, Fukuoka City, Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan. It utilised half of the space formerly home to Fukuoka Joypolis.[1]

The venue operated from November 2001 until May 2009, when Sega sold operations to the Taito Corporation alongside several other game centers (including Sega Arena Toyohashi) and reopened as a Taito Game Station in June, which continues to operate to this day.

Layout

The exterior and interior of Fukuoka Joypolis were kept for Club Sega Canal City, abeit smaller than before. All of Fukuoka Joypolis' attractions aside from Murder Lodge were removed from the venue, and the space of which continued to be used for pop-up horror attractions.
