Candymonium is a steel hyper roller coaster at Hersheypark in Hershey, Pennsylvania, USA. The ride was manufactured by Bolliger & Mabillard and is the centerpiece of a new multi-million dollar entry plaza called Chocolatetown. Opened in 2020, it is the first true candy-themed coaster at the park.
History
The attraction was announced on October 3, 2018 alongside the new ChocolateTown entrance area.[1]
More info was released on July 24, 2019, including the name Candymonium and that the ride would be 210 feet tall with a top speed of 76 mph and a length of 4,636 feet.[2] In November 2019, the tallest point of the ride was topped off.[3] The final piece of track was installed in February 2020.[4]
The ride had its first test run on May 6, 2020.[5]
On June 12, 2020, the park confirmed that the ride would open with the park on July 3.[6][7]

The park describes this attraction as the "world's sweetest roller coaster". Candymonium is a Hyper Coaster from Bolliger & Mabillard and the flagship attraction of Hersheypark's new entrance area Chocolatetown.
Trains
3 trains with 7 cars per train. In each car, riders are arranged 4 across in a single row, for a total of 28 riders per train.
Each train on Candymonium is based on a different Hershey brand. There will be a Hershey's Kisses train (blue), a Reese's Peanut Butter Cups train (orange), and a Twizzlers train (red).[4]
