History
Tidal Force was announced in October 1993 with groundbreaking expected on December 1 and an anticipated opening on May 7.[1]
The ride's opening was delayed due to construction delays caused by inclement weather.[2]
Tidal Force opened to guests on May 28, 1994.[3]
