HELP

DC Rivals HyperCoaster is a steel hyper roller coaster at Warner Bros. Movie World in Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia. It opened in 2017 and was manufactured by Mack Rides. The ride also has pink track and dark grey supports.

History

On 19 August 2017, the ride began testing.[1] In mid September 2017, the ride soft opened in preparation for its official opening on September 22.[2]

Design

Elements

DC Rivals HyperCoaster is a hypercoaster from Mack Rides, similar to Flash at Lewa Adventure. The final carriage is turned backwards. This is also the tallest, fastest and longest full circuit roller coaster in Australia. It also contains a 131.3 foot tall non inverting loop, a first for a Mack Rides GmbH & Co KG coaster.[3]

To the right of the lift hill is a sign depicting Cyborg fighting Deathstroke; during the final portion of the ride is another sign depicting Aquaman fighting Black Manta.

Trains

2 trains with 6 cars per train. In each car, riders are arranged 2 across in 2 rows, for a total of 24 riders per train. The train's last car has a single row facing backwards while all other cars have two rows facing forwards. So the capacity per train is 22, not 24 as stated above. It is themed to the Batmobile and its restraints consist of the Mack lap bars and the restraints open automatically at the end of the ride.
