Dragon Flier is a steel family inverted roller coaster currently under construction at Dollywood in Tennessee. It was designed by Vekoma and will open in 2019.

Design[edit | edit source]

The ride was officially announced as a suspended family coaster on August 3, 2018 alongside the rest of Wildwood Grove.

In March 2019, it was announced that Wildwood Grove would open on May 10, 2019.

Trains[edit | edit source]

10 cars per train. In each car, riders are arranged 2 across in a single row for a total of 20 riders per train.

Theme[edit | edit source]

Dragon Flier is opening as part of a new themed area at Dollywood named Wildwood Grove in 2019. The area will contain 7 other attractions and will be the largest expansion in Dollywood's history. It will be themed to exploring nature and adventuring.[1]
