Dragonflier is a steel inverted roller coaster located at Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, USA. It was designed by Vekoma and opened in May 2019.

History

The ride was officially announced as a suspended family roller coaster on August 3, 2018 alongside the rest of Wildwood Grove.[1]

In March 2019, Dollywood announced that Wildwood Grove would open on May 10, 2019.[2]

Dragonflier has a light green track and emerald green supports.

Trains

10 cars per train. In each car, riders are arranged 2 across in a single row, for a total of 20 riders per train.

Theme

Dragonflier opened as part of a new themed area at Dollywood named Wildwood Grove in 2019. The area contains 7 other attractions and was the largest expansion in Dollywood's history. It is themed to exploring nature and adventuring.[3]
