The Family Launch Coaster is a model of steel launched roller coaster manufactured by Vekoma.[1] It debuted in 2023 with Big Bear Mountain.
Design
The ride's trains are almost the same as the new train found on Vekoma's Family Coaster model. The main differences can be found at the underside of the train. This is where the Launch variant has big magnetic fins, allowing the trains to be launched by the LIM launch. This big fin is also the cause of the change in track design compared to the normal Family Coaster, with the launch track featuring a gap in the middle to allow the large launch fin to pass through without hitting the track.
