Flying Dutchman was a Flying Scooters ride built by US manufacturer Bisch Rocco formerly located at Boblo Island in Amherstburg, Ontario, Canada.
History
The ride was originally built in 1940, but it is believed to have opened at Boblo Island around 1949 or earlier. The ride was named Flying Dutchman, although on some park postcards stated that it was called The Comet.
After Boblo Island closed permanently on 30 September 1993, the ride was listed for $5,000 at auction in 1994, however it has not been believed to have ever been sold.[1]
