Titán is a steel roller coaster built by Japanese manufacturer Sansei Yusoki Co., Ltd currently located at Selva Mágica in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico.
History
The ride was originally built at Boblo Island in Canada at a cost of $600,000 USD. It was first called Thunderbolt and was later renamed to Sky Streak or Sky Streek after 1976 or later. It was painted entirely white.
It operated until the park closed on 30 September 1993. In 1994, the ride was sold at auction to Selva Mágica in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico for $150,000.[1] It was rebuilt and reopened at the park later in August 1994, being renamed to El Cascabel and its track being repainted red. The ride was later renamed to Titán and its track was repainted cyan by 2006. It was later repainted dark blue by 2019.
