The ride opened at Dorney Park in 1977 as Flying Dutchman.[1] After operating at Dorney Park, it was sold to Coney Park in Jamaica which opened in 1989.[2][3] The name "Roller Coaster" is assumed, the actual name is not known at this time.
Design
The ride had red track and white supports.
Trains
Single cars. Riders are arranged 2 across in 2 rows, for a total of 4 riders per car. The cars were designed to mimic the Ford Mustang of the late 60's.[4]
