Freedom Flyer is a steel suspended roller coaster located at Fun Spot America in Orlando, Florida, USA. It was built in the United States by American manufacturer Chance Rides under license from Dutch company Vekoma.[1]
History
Freedom Flyer was installed by Martin & Vleminckx.
The ride opened on May 17, 2013.[2]
on June 8, 2013 alongside White Lightning and Sea Serpent as part of a large expansion.
During the 2016 IAAPA Expo, virtual reality provided by VRCoaster was trialed on Freedom Flyer. From 2017, four seats would offer a virtual reality experience based on the "Freedom Flyer" theme.[3]
Design
Yellow track and blue supports.
Trains
Single train with 10 cars. In each car, riders are arranged 2 across in a single row, for a total of 20 riders per train. The trains have lapbar restraints.
