HELP |
Green Lantern Coaster is an S&S Worldwide El Loco roller coaster located at Warner Bros. Movie World in Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia. The ride currently features the third steepest drop on a roller coaster at 120.5°, just a degree short of TMNT Shellraiser's 121.5° drop.
Design
While it has the same layout as the standard El Loco, it is 10 feet taller and has wider four-abreast cars with onboard audio, playing the Green Lantern oath as the train goes up the lift hill.
Trains
Single car trains. Riders are arranged 4 across in 2 rows for a total of 8 riders per car.
Incident
On March 15, 2015, a car partially derailed, causing it to stop mid-course. Six riders had to be rescued.[1][2]
