The ride intertwines with a Vekoma Family Boomerang named Volldampf, which opened on the same day.[2]

Colour scheme

Sand track and olive green supports.

2 trains with 10 cars per train. In each car, riders are arranged 2 across in a single row, for a total of 20 riders per train. The trains are themed like backpacks, with spears and shields at the wheels.

Hals-über-Kopf is a German play on words that can mean headlong or head-over-heels; this is presumed to make reference to the ride's inversions.
