Visual editor is an alternative to the source code editor which does not require knowledge of wikitext.
Coasterpedia has walkthroughs, to help guide new editors around the visual editor:
- Your first edit with VisualEditor (launching VisualEditor, modifying and adding text, reviewing changes)
