History

Ihu’s Breakaway Falls was announced in 2013.^[3]

The slides opened on May 9, 2014.^[4]^[5]

Design

The attraction has 4 SuperLOOP slides, 3 of which are SkyBOX instalations, all from ProSlide.^[1]

All 3 trapdoor slides, which are orange, blue, and green, drop toward each other. The orange and green slides follow similar paths, while the blue one has a unique layout.

There is one non-trapdoor slide, purple, with a simple layout of a single helix.

Drops on the slides range from 28 feet to 40 feet tall, and the longest slide is 420 feet long.^[5]
