Iron Claw is a Vekoma inverted roller coaster located at Movie Park Germany in Bottrop, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. It is located in The Old West section of the park.

History

The attraction first opened in 2001. It was named Eraser from opening to 2004, FX in 2005 and MP Xpress starting 2006.

The ride was supposed to get a major retheme in 2021, getting a Lucky Luke theme, gold supports and keeping its original black track. The new story of the ride would tell about the Daltons escaping from prison. However, this retheme was postponed due to the COVID-19 outbreak, and only the ride's new colour scheme has been completed. This project was eventually canceled, and the coaster was transformed into Iron Claw instead.

In 2020, the ride received an overlay during Halloween, becoming Baboo Twister Express. The description of this overlay read; "Zombies rock hard too! With light effects and eerie rock music, the "Mp-Express" becomes the "Baboo Twister Express" and takes you into new in-between worlds. Not only do you lose your grip on your feet, you also spin through the darkness at around 80 km / h."

MP Xpress is the most common SLC model (689m Standard) manufactured by Vekoma.

Colour scheme

Grey track and brown supports. The ride opened with black track and white supports.

Trains

2 trains with 10 cars per train. In each car, riders are arranged 2 across in a single row, for a total of 20 riders per train.
