Pepsi Orange Streak (formerly known as Pepsi Ripsaw) is an indoor steel roller coaster located at Nickelodeon Universe in Bloomington, Minnesota, USA.

History

Pepsi Ripsaw was the only roller coaster which opened with the park (then called Knott's Camp Snoopy), on August 11, 1992.[1]

For the 2008 season, the park reopened under its current name, Nickelodeon Universe. As part of the overhaul, Pepsi Ripsaw was renamed Pepsi Orange Streak and either the entirety of the trains or their outer shells were replaced.

Design

Elements

The ride has two tire propelled lifts. The track travels around the park and passes through two enclosed sections while intersecting with Log Chute, as well as the Fairly Odd Coaster. Pepsi Orange Streak finishes with a helix.

Color scheme

Dark green track with light green supports.

Trains

The interior of the front car

2 trains with 15 cars per train. In each car, riders are arranged 2 across in a single row, for a total of 30 riders per train. Riders are held in by individual lap bars.
