Fly with Appa is a Jets currently operating at Nickelodeon Universe Mall of America in Bloomington, Minnesota, USA.
History
The ride was announced sometime in 2023 and was expected to open in Spring 2024.[1]
The ride hosted its VIP Night one night before the official opening, on March 22, 2024 from 5 to 8 PM CDT.
The ride officially opened to the public on March 23, 2024.[2]
Design
The ground of the ride is decorated with various shades of blue circles and swirls. The pole in the middle is decorated like a mountain with wind clouds circling the tower in a couple of places. The base of the pole is decorated with a water facade. The beams that are holding the rider vehicles are painted silver. The rider vehicles themselves are decorated to look like sky bison from the show this ride is themed to, Avatar: The Last Airbender. The ride operator's post has been decorated to look like a miniature Chinese temple. Surrounding the ride, you can find a dark blue railing and a series of poles with banners hanging from them.
