History

Surrey with the Fringe on Top opened at Opryland USA around 1977 or earlier. It was located in the Children's Ride Area section of the park.^[1]

The ride was believed to be retained by park owner Gaylord Entertainment Company and stored after the park's closure on December 31, 1997.^[2]
