There was a theory claiming that Boblo Island's Scrambler might of been originally built in 1961 for Six Flags Over Texas as Missile Chaser. After it was removed in 1977, what happened to it was unknown until it was bought by Boblo Island in 1983. After Boblo Island closed in 1993, it was purchased by Six Flags in a ride package, which also included Nightmare and the boats for their former Log Flume, later reopening at SFOT as Missile Chaser in 2000.
Another theory the article also discussed as well mentioned that the park might of replaced its Scrambler at one point with an another model, as another scrambler was listed in the park's 1974 brochure. Another piece of evidence which contradicts other info is the fact that the Auctions results for Boblo Island featuring the Scrambler list a 1965 date instead of a 1961 date.

- I'll do a bit more digging but for now I found a newspaper article from 1974 with a photo of the ride. Lachlan (Talk | contribs) 07:48, 10 June 2025 (UTC)
- This article would suggest that the Scrambler was new in 1958 Lachlan (Talk | contribs) 16:29, 10 June 2025 (UTC)
