On 23 October 2022, an incident occurred on the coaster which resulted in a man being airlifted to hospital. The park was subsequently closed.[1][2] The man's injuries were later revealed to be non-life threatening.[3] Treetops Rollercoaster has since reopened. In February 2024, the Heath and Safety Executive closed its investigation after it found no fault with the ride hardware.[4]
