HELP

Speed: No Limits is a steel roller coaster located at Oakwood Theme Park in Narberth, Pembrokeshire, Wales, UK. Opened in 2006, it is a custom Euro-Fighter installation from Gerstlauer and the tallest, fastest and steepest roller coaster in Wales. The attraction was also the tallest and fastest Euro-Fighter until the opening of Flucht von Novgorod at Hansa Park in 2009.

It was built at a cost of £3 million.[1] The ride is one of two major roller coasters at the park, the other being Megafobia.

Elements

Ride experience

The ride begins with a vertical chain lift hill, which is immediately followed by the beyond-vertical drop, an element found on all Euro-Fighter roller coasters. An airtime hill and an overbanked 180° turnaround follows. The vertical loop is next, which is followed by a rise into the mid-course brake run. The heartline roll is subsequently taken at low speed before the track curves downward. The car continues to gain speed as it maneuvers the downward helix which leads into the final brakes.

Trains

Single cars. Riders are arranged 4 across in 2 rows, for a total of 8 riders per car. Riders are secured by over-the-shoulder harnesses.
