Hello Carl Olsson, and welcome to Coasterpedia, the Amusement Ride Wiki! Thank you for your contributions. Make sure to personalize your user page, and tell us a little about yourself.

There are many ways you can help out:

  • Click here to add a roller coaster, ride, theme park, or something else to our wiki. Please make sure we have not covered your article already by using the search function.
  • Upload your amusement ride photographs.
  • Watch the wiki being updated in real time with Recent Changes.
  • Go to a random page and check it looks okay.

If you need help, the help pages will give you an insight into editing here at Coasterpedia. The manual of style is our guide for keeping articles looking consistent. You're also welcome to leave a message on an administrator's talk page or join the Coasterpedia Discord chat. If you're on social media, you may follow the official Coasterpedia Twitter account and the official Facebook page for updates and wiki highlights.

We look forward to editing with you, so pull down your restraint and enjoy the ride! Lachlan (Talk | contribs) 22:49, 12 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Recent edits

Hi User, welcome to Coasterpedia. I am writing as I reverted some of your edits as I couldn't find references to back up the changes. For example this change to Silver Star is contrary to the information on the RCDB, the only external source in that article. To change this info, we really need a good source that backs it up. See Help:Cite for information on how to cite sources. I see you're editing on mobile where citing sources can be fiddly, so an alternative is to add a note on the talk page of the article you're editing and paste a link to the sources used there. Let me know if you have any questions! Happy editing Lachlan (Talk | contribs) 11:33, 13 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Insane closure

Hello, I'm sorry, I still can't find any information on the closure of Insane. I've looked through the official Grona Lund website and archives of Screamscape and they don't appear to mention it. Have you got any more info on this? Lachlan (Talk | contribs) 17:03, 28 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Reinstating removed material

Hi again. As this is a collaborative project, you really need to respond to the messages posted here rather than reinstating your changes that were reverted. Please stop restoring the changes (such as on Insane) without providing at least a summary and a source for the information you're adding. In the case of Insane, RCDB lists the speed of 55 km/h, we need either a good reason not to trust RCDB here and/or another source with a different speed. If you need any help with editing, leave me a message and I'll try help the best I can! Lachlan (Talk | contribs) 19:26, 30 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I have been to Grona Lund and saw Insane standing but not operating i hope it opens this year :) Carl Olsson (talk) 18:43, 1 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, although you included the source for the image, the website appears to be under copyright and not available under Creative Commons. As a result, we can not host the image here. If you have any, you could add some of your own photos? Unfortunately we can't use other people's photographs unless we have their permission or they are released under a Creative Commons license.
