Wonderland Eurasia is an amusement park in Ankara, Ankara, Turkey. It has the most roller coasters of a newly opened park. It is built on the site of fields and a former zoo.
History
The park was developed by Melih Gokcek, the mayor of Ankara.[1]
The park was expected to open in 2014 or 2015, however the opening date had been pushed back several times. It was announced as opening on April 23, 2018.
The park finally opened on 21 March 2019. The opening was reportedly delayed due to safety concerns.[2]
In February 2020, it was announced that the park had ceased operation after just a single season due to debt on electricity bills.[3]
In July 2022 following a two-year legal battle, ownership of the park was transferred to to the city council, now run by a different political party.[1]
