Yoshi's Adventure (Japanese: ヨッシー・アドベンチャー) is an onmimover Dark Ride currently located at Universal Studios Japan in Konohana-ku, Osaka, Japan. It is based on the Yoshi spin-off franchise. The ride opened with the Super Nintendo World area on 18 March 2021.[1] The ride, along with the area were planned to open in the Summer of 2020 until being delayed due to the COVID-19 Pandemic.[2]
Layout
Located three stories beyond the ground, Yoshi's Adventure has guests riding in vehicles that are shaped and styled like Yoshis. The outdoor portions of the ride provide a good view of the Super Nintendo World area. The objective of the ride is to find Captain Toad's hidden treasure, namely three colored Yoshi Eggs, which can be "found" using the on-ride dashboard that activates on-ride "stamps" with a smartphone.
During the ride, guests can spot animatronics of various Super Mario characters. The indoor scene of the ride depicts Yoshi and a Pink Yoshi saving Baby Mario and Baby Peach from Kamek.
