Alpine Railworks (formerly Diesel Derby) is a Track Ride built by Italian manufacturer Zamperla currently located at Edaville Family Theme Park in Carver, Massachusetts, USA.
The ride was sold alongside the rest of the attractions at Edaville in April 2025.[1]
Design
During the Thomas Land era, the ride was themed to the Thomas & Friends cartoon series, themed after the Sodor Dieselworks, and featuring cars themed after Diesel, Salty, Iron 'Arry, Iron Bert, and Rusty. The ride is a clone of Diesel Derby at Six Flags America.
After Edaville's deal with Mattel ended, the ride was rethemed to match the Alpine Village theme.[2] The diesels were changed to resemble generic red and green diesel shunters.
