Barnstormer was a Barnstormer built by US manufacturer Bradley & Kaye that was previously located at Worlds of Fun in Kansas City, Missouri, USA.
History
Barnstormer closed in 1983. Its pump house remains.[1]
Incident
20 riders were injured on June 30, 1978 after a hydraulic mechanism malfunctioned. Witnesses reported that the ride vehicles began to careen wildly, ramming into each other and nearby fences and light posts.[2] The ride returned to operation by July 22.[3]
