Cosmic Coaster is a steel kiddie roller coaster located at Worlds of Fun in Kansas City, Missouri, USA. The ride was built by Preston & Barbieri and is themed to Snoopy. It is located in the Planet Snoopy section of the park.
History
The Cosmic Coaster originally opened on April 3, 1993 named Wacky Worm. It was located in the "Americana" section of the park, which became Camp Snoopy in 2001. The area was remodeled once again into Planet Snoopy in 2011. The next year, Wacky Worm was moved within Planet Snoopy and received a new name and theme as Cosmic Coaster as part of an investment in overall general park improvements. It is located in the space previously occupied by the Woodstock Express kiddie train.
