Demon is a steel roller coaster located at California's Great America in Santa Clara, California, USA. The ride opened in 1976, along with its identical copy at Six Flags Great America as Turn of the Century. It was built by Arrow Dynamics.

History

Turn of the Century first opened with the park on May 20, 1976. For the 1980 season, the coaster's color scheme was repainted from white into black, lit tunnels were added and the airtime hills were replaced with two consecutive vertical loops. The ride was renamed Demon that same year.

In 2021, the ride was updated with the restoration of the tunnel lights and waterfall.[1]
