Waveswinger

Archelon at Adventure Island, a themed waveswinger ride

The Waveswinger is a type of ride consisting of floorless chairs attached to a spinning top by chains. The spinning motion of the ride causes the chairs to swing outward. In addition to spinning, the top of the ride tilts to one side adding an additional thrill element.

Waveswingers are popular both as stationary and as portable attractions and come in different sizes.
