Six Flags Hurricane Harbor Oklahoma City is a waterpark Located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, USA. It is located about a half hour away from Frontier City, which is under the same management and operation.
History
The park was originally opened in 1981 by Herschend Enterprises under the name White Water.[1] The Tierco Group purchased the park in 1991, renaming it as White Water Bay and marketing it alongside the nearby Frontier City amusement park.
In 2007, White Water Bay was one of the many parks sold by Six Flags to PARC Management. In 2011, CNL Lifestyle Properties took over ownership and hired Premier Parks to operate it. In 2017, EPR Properties took over ownership.
In 2018, Six Flags re-purchased the operation lease from Premier Parks; and in 2020 White Water Bay was renamed as Six Flags Hurricane Harbor Oklahoma City.[2]
