Super Grover's Box Car Derby is a steel kiddie roller coaster located at SeaWorld San Antonio in San Antonio, Texas, USA. The theme of the ride is based around Shamu, the first orca captured by SeaWorld. It was built by Zierer and opened on 2004.
History
Shamu Express was announced on December 15, 2003.[1]
The roller coaster was refurbished and reopened as Super Grover's Box Car Derby with the park on February 23, 2019.[2]
Design
The ride features a simple oval layout. It has pink track and green supports.
Trains
Single train with 6 cars. In each car, riders are arranged 2 across in a single row, for a total of 12 riders per train. The trains have a shark theme.
