Timberhawk: Ride of Prey is a wooden roller coaster located at Wild Waves Theme & Water Park in Federal Way, Washington, USA. The ride utilizes both wood and steel supports to support a wooden track. Its trains are built by Philadelphia Toboggan Coasters.
History
In 2002, the city of Federal Way, Washington filed permits to build a wooden roller coaster for the 2003 season.[1]
The roller coaster was announced in February 2003. It was the first wooden roller coaster to be built by S&S Worldwide,[2] who went on to build three more. Timberhawk: Ride of Prey opened on June 7, 2003.[3]
