Flight Trainer

Thanks for adding the Intamin Flight Trainer page, but I'm 98% sure the Seibuen (Japan) machine had nothing to do with the Knotts Berry Farm machine. The Japanese machine is listed as sold by Intamin in 1989 (to debut 1990), and the Knotts sold in 1988 (for a 1990 debut). Intamin only list the original owner in their reference lists, so wouldn't list the same ride twice. Also, I trawled for hours through Japanese translations to get the opening date of 1990 for the Seibuen machine Jason foulkes (talk) 04:12, 3 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for pointing that out. I stumbled on a few sources that claimed they were the same and marked it as such, but I see that there are separate entries for the rides and your comment about Intamin listing the original owner is a really good point. I've updated the page to keep them separate. Time93 (talk) 04:24, 3 January 2022 (UTC)Reply
Cheers for that. Interesting page - an old "Intamin Japan" page that actually lists the year (and month) rides opened, as opposed to the year they were sold - http://www.intamin-japan.co.jp/results/results05.html But also includes rides they were broker for and didn't build themselves Jason foulkes (talk) 04:29, 3 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

Gondolas

I just remembered, there is a cabins parameter in the ride infobox intended to list the number of cabins (gondolas) in a ferris wheel. I'm thinking it may be better to rename it to gondolas, since unenclosed ferris wheel gondolas don't feel like "cabins" to me? Lachlan (Talk | contribs) 16:43, 4 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

Ah I didn't know that. I would agree that gondola is a more applicable term for more all types of Ferris Wheel car types. Time93 (talk) 17:15, 4 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

Flying Scooters

Hello, great work with the Flying Scooters article! However about the list, Jason and I have steered clear of making lists on ride type pages due to the sheer quantity of units that fall under each type. I think it would be better to create pages for the individual products and then we can cut rows out from the table to put into those pages. When I have a bit more time, I can split it up for you, if you like? Lachlan (Talk | contribs) 22:59, 18 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

To clarify, all the Bisch Rocco installations to the "Flying Scooters (Bisch Rocco product)" page, all the Larson's to a Larson one, etc.? And then the Flying Scooter page itself will just have a ride description and maybe a list of manufacturers, e.g. "Star Flyer" page? I can start dissecting it and moving the table parts to the relevant articles if that's correct. Time93 (talk) 01:21, 19 January 2022 (UTC)Reply
Yep, that's it. Thanks! Lachlan (Talk | contribs) 14:14, 19 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

Allmighty Hermes

Thanks for adding the correct opening year to Allmighty Hermes, but please provide a source when changing 'controversial' stats such as those. Thanks in advance QDude24 (Talk | contribs) 10:52, 8 February 2022 (UTC+01:00)

Idora Park

Hello, thought I would send you a quick message as you created the Idora Park and Wildcat (Idora Park) pages. It appears the park hadn't opened yet (source 1, source 2) and was supposed to open May 5. Am surprised both RCDB and Wikipedia don't appear to have picked up on that. Anyway just thought you'd be interested, are you able to see those newspaper.com links without an account? I'm never sure Lachlan (Talk | contribs) 11:06, 15 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

Category parameter

Hello, thanks for your recent edits and for adding the category parameter to ride infoboxes. Regarding this, I would keep adding it when you edit an existing article though I wouldn't bother ediiting an article just to add it - I am planning to use Autowikibrowser to add it automatically in the future. Lachlan (Talk | contribs) 19:48, 9 July 2023 (UTC)Reply

Okay; thank you for letting me know! Time93 (talk) 19:53, 9 July 2023 (UTC)Reply

Viking (Tokyo Dome City)

Hello, I was just wondeirng how you found out about this one? Viking at Tokyo Dome City

Thanks! Lachlan (Talk | contribs) 15:18, 15 July 2023 (UTC)Reply

It's listed on an old Intamin ride catalog under the park's former name, Korakuen. I was able to find the ride mentioned on the Japanese Wikipedia too, which included a source with photos and information (albeit in Japanese). Time93 (talk) 16:20, 16 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
Ah fantastic thanks for this Lachlan (Talk | contribs) 20:27, 16 July 2023 (UTC)Reply

Jet Ski at Happy Valley

Hi @Time93

Just curious about your edit on Happy Valley, are you sure its a Zierer/Inno Heege Jet Ski and not one build by a chinese manufacturer? QDude24 (talk) 21:23, 7 October 2023 (UTC)Reply

Zierer recently featured it on their YouTube channel - https://youtu.be/09xNL1SjCzc
When an attraction doesn't yet have a page, is it preferred to source the manufacturer/date/etc. on the park page? Up till now I've waited until the page had been created to include that, but I can do it differently if preferred. Time93 (talk) 21:56, 7 October 2023 (UTC)Reply
Hello - you can always add references to table rows or information to the park article talk page. Not mandatory but a handy way to keep the information on hand until the ride articles are made Lachlan (Talk | contribs) 22:54, 7 October 2023 (UTC)Reply

Make redirects green

Hello - this is just something I find helpful and you may do too. I have my CSS set to make redirects green so they are easily spotted. That way if coordinates are not appearing on a park page and the park name in the infobox is green, I know I need to update the park link. You can put the following on User:Time93/common.css.

/* make redirects green */
 .mw-redirect {
     color: green;
 }
 .mw-redirect:visited {
     color: green;
 }
 .mw-redirect:hover {
     color: green;
 }
 .mw-redirect:active {
     color: green;
 }

Product tables

Hello! Alex was woring on a template that can automatically generate lists of rides for product pages. It isn't fully-featured yet and as it is generated from Cargo data it can only add data on rides which already have articles. If you want to try it, you can add {{attractions by product|Type=Coaster}} or {{attractions by product|Type=Ride}}. Let us know if you find any bugs Lachlan (Talk | contribs) 19:36, 1 September 2024 (UTC)Reply

Manufacturer names

Hello again - a while back I added "Manufacturer names should not include "Co., Ltd", "GmbH", "AG", and similar abbreviations." to Coasterpedia:Manual of Style/Naming convention but as usual didn't fully update the wiki to reflect it. Do you think its a good idea or should we include these extra bits? Lachlan (Talk | contribs) 20:32, 23 October 2024 (UTC)Reply

Antique Car Ride (Castle Park)

Hello - I remember you had some info on Arrow Antique Car rides - any chance you have something for this one? I don't have any confirmation that it is an Arrow. Lachlan (Talk | contribs) 22:20, 26 November 2024 (UTC)Reply

The Arrow catalog I've sourced in a lot of articles (https://www.flickr.com/photos/trainsandstuff/2992794659/in/album-72157608576126309/) doesn't list Castle Park, but the Coasterpedia article claims the ride came from Knott's, which is on the PDF. Looks like Knott's had three car types (and therefore maybe three rides?) - Flyer, Ford, and Maxwell. The photo on the Castle Park article appears to possibly be a Flyer, but I'm not certain. Time93 (talk) 22:28, 26 November 2024 (UTC)Reply
Thanks - no idea where the info on it coming from Knott's coming from. I'll ask the creator of the article. Lachlan (Talk | contribs) 22:37, 26 November 2024 (UTC)Reply

Tip Tip

Hello - writing to you as you created the Bubble Bounce page - do you know if Custer is related to Hrubetz and do you know if anyone else made these sorts of rides? I'd like to start a ride type page - I'll probably name it just Bubble Bounce and move the article you created to Bubble Bounce (Euclid Beach Park). Lachlan (Talk | contribs) 12:03, 31 May 2025 (UTC)Reply

Legoland Shanghai pages

Hello, thanks for adding all these pages. Do you have a source you can use to confirm the planned attractions? Thanks Lachlan (Talk | contribs) 12:47, 24 June 2025 (UTC)Reply

The park is open for previews and there have been a lot of photos shared on Themeparx, CoasterForce, and other sites that show many of the rides and their signage. The park map has also been released. Time93 (talk) 14:13, 24 June 2025 (UTC)Reply
Thanks for this - and apologies I didn't come back sooner. Can you please stick one in when adding new articles going forward? The Themeparx info in particular looks really good Lachlan (Talk | contribs) 21:05, 1 July 2025 (UTC)Reply
