The Astroliner was a Motion simulator manufactured by Wisdom Rides. It was one of the earliest examples of motion simulators built for Amusement parks.
Design
The Astroliner came in portable[1] and permanent configurations and had two degrees of movement. The first movement allowed the rocket to slant upwards as if moving upward, while the second movement allowed for left and right rolling of the rocket via grooves that interlock and move wheels on the rocket.[2]
