Boomerang, or Le Boomerang, is a steel shuttle roller coaster located at La Ronde in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. It is a Boomerang installation from Vekoma.

History

The ride was originally constructed at Tivoli in Spain. This park did not open, and the boomerang was sold and sent to La Ronde.

A new train was installed on the ride in 2025.[1]

When the ride begins, the train is pulled backwards up the lift hill, then dropped through the loading station and into a cobra roll and then a vertical loop. At the end of this cycle the train is pulled up the other lift hill at the end of the track, then dropped once again, allowing the train to go back through the layout backwards.

Colour scheme

Blue track and silver supports. It used to feature white supports up untill 2019. Its original scheme had featured white track in addition to the white supports.

Trains

Single train with 7 cars. In each car, riders are arranged 2 across in 2 rows, for a total of 28 riders per train.
