Flitzer was a steel roller coaster previously located at Morey's Piers in Wildwood, New Jersey, USA.

History

It arrived at the park in 1983. It was one of the two small coasters on the pier.

It was originally scheduled to close on September 23, 2018, Morey's Piers delayed Flitzer's closure by a week for reasons unknown. It closed on September 30, 2018; it is unknown what became of the coaster following its removal from Morey's Piers.

Elements

Color scheme

Black track and white supports. The ride used to feature black track and red supports.

Trains

Single cars. Riders are arranged inline in 2 rows, for a total of 2 riders per car.

Refurbishment

During the 2004-2005 off-season, the ride was taken down and refurbished. The theme of the ride was changed from space to surfing. It was then setup beside the Doo Wopper in the spot where the RC-48 roller coaster once stood.
