Lex Luthor's Invertatron was a Top Spin built by Italian manufacturer Soriani & Moser that was previously located at Six Flags New Orleans in New Orleans, Louisiana and Morey's Piers in Wildwood, New Jersey.

History

The ride originally opened as Storm at Morey's Piers in 1999.[1] It was installed on Mariner's Pier.

The ride was removed at the end of the 2001 season. Storm was eventually sold to and bought by Six Flags at some point around 2002. Storm was later sent to Jazzland in New Orleans, Louisiana, which Six Flags had recently acquired at the time. The ride was one of several rides added for 2003 as part of the rebranding of Jazzland as Six Flags New Orleans. It was originally planned to reopen as Riddler's Revenge, but this was later changed.[2] It was instead completely refurbished and rethemed as Lex Luthor's Invertatron.[3][4]

In August 2005, Six Flags New Orleans was severely damaged by Hurricane Katrina and was never reopened.

The ride was scrapped in late 2024.[5]
