Road Runner Express is a Vekoma family roller coaster located at Six Flags Magic Mountain in Valencia, California, USA. It was moved from the former Six Flags New Orleans, and opened to the public on May 28, 2011.

History

The coaster opened as Rex's Rail Runner at Jazzland on May 20, 2000. For 2003, it was renamed Road Runner's Express when the park was rebranded as Six Flags New Orleans. It operated until Hurricane Katrina hit the park in August 2005. After severe flooding, Six Flags New Orleans never reopened and the coaster was dismantled in 2009.

The coaster was moved to Six Flags Magic Mountain. It was originally to be named "Mr. Six's Dance Coaster" and was supposed to open in the Cyclone Bay area of the park in 2010.[1] A DC Comics theme was later considered.[2] After several delays, the opening date was moved back to mid-2011 and its construction site was moved to the "Bugs Bunny World" section of the park.
