Daffy Duck and the Backlot Tour Bus is a Junior Flying Carpet built by Italian manufacturer Zamperla currently standing but not operating at Six Flags New Orleans in New Orleans, Louisiana, USA.
History
The ride first opened with Jazzland in New Orleans, Louisiana, USA on May 20, 2000 as Jolly Jitney, located in the Kid's Carnival children's area.[1][2]
In 2003, after Six Flags completed the acquistion of Jazzland in August 2002, the park was rebranded as Six Flags New Orleans and the ride was renamed to Daffy Duck and the Backlot Tour Bus, themed after the character Daffy Duck when the Kid's Carnival area was rethemed to Looney Tunes Adventures with the addition of the Warner Bros. and DC Comics licenses.[3][4]
In August 2005, Six Flags New Orleans closed in preparation for Hurricane Katrina and never reopened. Daffy Duck and the Backlot Tour Bus remains standing but not operating.
