Madame Freudenreich Curiosités is a Tracked Dark Ride built by German manufacturer Mack Rides currently located at Europa-Park in Rust, Baden Wuerttemberg, Germany. It is located in the France section of the park, situated nearby Eurosat.
History
Originally, the ride opened in 1994 as Universum de Energie. The ride originally had notable amounts of animatronic dinosaurs and was located in the France area in the park.
It closed in 2017 and later re-opened in 2018 as Madame Freudenreich Curiosités, which majorly changed the theme while still keeping most of the dinosaur figures.
Trivia
- The ride's concept and name were nearly identical or similar to the now defunct Universe of Energy formerly located at Epcot. Just like the latter, the ride also had a collection of animatronic dinosaurs and figures.
