HELP

Alpenexpress "Enzian" was the first coaster to open at Europa-Park in Rust, Baden Wuerttemberg, Germany. It is a steel powered coaster built by Mack Rides and opened in 1984.

History

In September 2015, virtual reality headsets were introduced on Alpenxpress. It was the first coaster at Europa-Park to offer virtual reality rides.[1] In subsequent years, more virtual reality experiences have been added.[2]

The indoor half of the ride, dubbed Zauberwelt der Diamanten was hit with a devastating fire on 19 June 2023. this closed the walkthrough, coaster and Tiroler Wildwasserbahn for the unforeseeable future.[3] It would later be revealed on the Europa-Park fanday that Alpenexpress would be torn down and replaced with a new version of the ride, while Tiroler Wildwasserbahn would be repaired.[4]
