HELP

Nightmare Mine was a steel enclosed roller coaster previously located at Frontier City in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, USA

History

The coaster originally opened as Screamer in 1980, and was located near the park entrance. It eventually received a new color scheme and name in 1986, being known as Orange Blossom Special from that point on. It was repainted again in 1989. This saw the ride being relocated to a building, getting a full black color scheme and the new name Nightmare Mine. It closed around 1999 due to high maintenance costs. A quick replacement in the form of a second hand SDC galaxi would be arranged. This replacement was rushed however, with the coaster still featuring its red and white colors. This choice for a second hand coaster backfired as the ride faced downtime due to the same issues as the original coaster, already closing for good in 2000.
