Skyrush is an Intamin hyper roller coaster located at Hersheypark in Hershey, Pennsylvania, USA. The ride was opened on May 26, 2012. It is one of two wing coasters made by Intamin. The attraction features a different train style from B&M Wing Coasters and the Accelerator Coaster Furius Baco at PortAventura Park.
History
Skyrush opened on May 26, 2012.[1] The ride was themed to an airline, with announcements like those of one playing in the station.
On February 29, 2024, Hersheypark announced that the seats on Skyrush had been replaced in order to improve rider comfort. The station was also updated and a new logo was created.[2] Many riders had found the previous restraints painful, leading to the ride being nicknamed "ThighCrush".[3]

Skyrush features an 85° drop and five airtime hills.[4] The ride uses a cable lift to ascend the first hill. Skyrush was the tallest, fastest, and longest roller coaster at Hersheypark until the opening of Candymonium in 2020.
Trains
2 trains with 8 cars per train. In each car, riders are arranged 4 across in a single row, for a total of 32 riders per train.
