SpongeBob's Boating School Blast is a steel kiddie roller coaster located at Sea World in Surfers Paradise, Queensland, Australia.
History
The ride opened as part of the Nickelodeon Land area, established in 2015. There are multiple signs for the ride with different names, reading Mrs. Puff's Boating School Blast, Mrs. Puff's Boating School, and SpongeBob's Boating School Blast.[citation needed]
Design
Boating School Blast was manufactured by Zamperla and is similar to other Zamperla coasters, but with redesigned curves and banking. The ticket booth is modeled after Mrs. Puff's schoolhouse from SpongeBob SquarePants. Statues of the characters SpongeBob and Mrs. Puff are located near the ride. While going down the first drop, the train goes through a loop that is made to look like it is on fire and a brick wall labeled "WALL" can be seen to the tight of the track. These are both references to the show.
Trains
Single train with 6 cars. In each car, riders are arranged 2 across in a single row, for a total of 12 riders per train.
