Super Hero is a modified Enterprise ride with prone gondolas currently located at Fantasilandia in Santiago, Chile. The ride is a HUSS Fly Away originally built for Pleasure Island Family Theme Park in Cleethorpes, Lincolnshire, England, UK.[1]

History

The ride was announced as Alakazam on 24 February 2001 by Pleasure Island Family Theme Park.[2]

Alakazam opened at the park in April 2001, along with Galleon as one of two new attractions to open that season.[3]

In 2012, the ride receieved a new sign, replacing the one it had since it opened.[4]

Alakazam would continue to operate until Pleasure Island Family Theme Park closed permanently on 29 October 2016.

After the park's closure, after being on sale for a few months, Alakazam was sold and exported to Chile in April 2017.

It was later refurbished and eventually reopened at Fantasilandia in Santiago, Chile in December 2018 as Super Hero.[5]

It operated there until 2023, when it was later removed from the park. It is now believed to be listed for sale once again.[6]
