Looping Rollercoasters
When do you think we should change the inverted type of rollercoaster to looping? As this has been brought up in the main talk page. Icecubelord38 (talk) 08:38, 20 February 2024 (UTC)
Product pages
Hey Alex, I saw you added pages for the TORNADO proslide products, but gave every version its own page. Would it be better if we grouper them all together, as we are doing now with flat ride and coaster pages? (Example 1, Example 2) Would make linking to them easier and makes for a overall meatier page instead of several smaller ones! QDude24 (talk) 17:29, 27 May 2024 (UTC)
- No preference, feel free to change it if you want Alex (talk) 17:49, 27 May 2024 (UTC)
Is Ray Rush a water coaster?
On Coasterpedia:Guide to water slides, it says "a water coaster has sections of upwards propulsion", whereas I believe Ray Rush's launch section is entirely flat, hence why I removed the category on the slide from the park page, and left it out of the article. CoasterDave (talk) 17:28, 14 September 2024 (UTC)
- That's an unusual one, I saw Master Blaster and assumed it would be a water coaster. You are correct though that it wouldn't be classed as a water coaster under our definition. Alex (talk) 16:36, 16 September 2024 (UTC)
RFII stats
In your edit summary where you ask me to upload an image of RFII's station stat sign to the page, are you sure it should actually be included in the page? I will upload it to the site and add it to my own userpage so it can be verified as true, but I feel like a random picture of the sign in just a Gravity Group article would be a little out of place. Fobfan89 (talk) 23:24, 8 November 2024 (UTC)
- You can just categorise it under the park, but we do add info plaques to pages, for example Flight of the Pterosaur Alex (talk) 23:47, 8 November 2024 (UTC)
Product links
I see you changed the product link on Slide (Storey Lake).
On Template:Infobox water slide for product links it states "Follow the standard format of Product name (Manufacturer name product)
, ommit the brackets if no other article shares the same title."
I do not think that there would be any other page named "Combination Water Slide Model 1865". CoasterDave (talk) 03:40, 18 November 2024 (UTC)
- Good spot, documentation updated! Alex (talk) 09:06, 18 November 2024 (UTC)
- I thought that the brackets were meant for disambiguation? CoasterDave (talk) 20:27, 18 November 2024 (UTC)
- Not having the brackets causes issues with some of the automation bits at the moment. Might try and come up with a way to fix it at some point, but it’s easier to remove them later. Alex (talk) 20:59, 18 November 2024 (UTC)
