Vampire is a steel inverted roller coaster located at Walibi Belgium in Wavre, Walloon Brabant, Wallonia, Belgium. It opened in 1999.

Design

Elements

The ride has the standard Suspended Looping Coaster layout.

Colour scheme

The ride opened with red track and turquoise supports. For the 2010 season, the track and supports were repainted. The track remained red, but the supports were repainted black.

Trains

2 trains with 10 cars per train. In each car, riders are arranged 2 across in a single row, for a total of 20 riders per train. Riders are held in with over-the-shoulder harnesses.

Incident

On 17 August 2022, the ride was started while one of the harnesses in the front row had not been closed. The woman sitting in the seat immediately jumped from the seat and the ride was brought to an emergency stop.[1] Vampire reopened the following day.[2]
