Tornado was a steel roller coaster located at Six Flags Belgium in Wavre, Walloon Brabant, Wallonia, Belgium. Opened in 1979, it was one of the first roller coasters in Belgium to have inversions. The ride closed in 2002 and was standing but not operating while attempts were made to sell it. The trains from Wabash Cannonball at Opryland USA were sent to the park (after it was scrapped once Six Flags sold the land in Old Indiana Fun-n-Water Park in 2002 where it was stored following Opryland's closure in 1997) in 2003, but were never used on it.[1] In 2006, the ride was demolished as it could not be sold. The former spot was reused for the Vertigo.
