The Z40 was the smallest product in the Zyklon line produced by Italian firm Pinfari.
Roller coasters with the same layout have been produced by other manufacturers. One such example is the Cyclon from Interpark.
Design
The Z40 can be distinguished from other Zyklon roller coasters by its lift hill, which is positioned such that it travels diagonally across the roller coaster. The only other Zyklon layout with a diagonal lift hill is the Z78, the largest Zyklon layout. The Z40 uses single cars that seat four riders in two rows of two. Pinfari sold the coaster with six cars.
