Alpenexpress "Enzian" was the first coaster to open at Europa-Park in Rust, Baden Wuerttemberg, Germany. It is a steel family powered coaster built by Mack Rides and opened in 1984.
History
In September 2015, virtual reality headsets were introduced on Alpenxpress. It was the first coaster at Europa-Park to offer virtual reality rides.[1] In subsequent years, more virtual reality experiences have been added.[2]

Trains
Single train with 10 cars. In each car, riders are arranged 2 across in 2 rows, except for the front car which has a single row, for a total of 38 riders per train.
